Thanks to a careful conservative restoration work of ancient houses in the Sassi, our elegant and characteristic Hotel in Matera is born, distinguishing itself for the attention to detail in every aspect; underground environments and cisterns make our small hotel one of the most characteristic accommodation facilities in the historic center of Matera.

None of our rooms have a direct view of the stones of Matera, but in the tuff it is possible to see marine fossils dating back to two million years ago

Our breakfast is served from 8.30 to 10 in our internal breakfast room entirely dug into the tuff. We offer a rich and genuine breakfast buffet, mainly prepared by us with fresh daily products, both sweet and savory.

Small dogs can stay by prior arrangement for € 10 (per stay). The owner is responsible for any damage to the furniture.
